Board of Building Appeals
The Board of Building Appeals' primary responsibility is to hear appeals from any person questioning an order of the City's Chief Building Official related to building, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, dangerous building or housing codes. The Board recommends changes to the building codes as appropriate.

Interests - Form 700) under State of California laws.

Membership Requirements:
Must be a registered voter in the City of Modesto and be capable of voting on building construction issues based on experience and training.
